Ralf Ragnicks men currently top the German table, three points clear of Bayern, following their promotion from the second division in May. The undoubted key to their incredible
start to the season has been the form of striker Vedad Ibisevic (right), with the Bosnian international having scored 17 goals in only 15 games thus far.
Should Hoffenheim emerge victorious against Jurgen Klinsmanns side, then they will be certain to sit atop the Bundesliga going into the winter break, with one round of fixtures remaining prior to Christmas.
Indeed Hoffenheim, where only around 3,000 people live, are proving to be such a draw now, that the Allianz Arena with it’s 69,000 capacity, could have been sold twice over. Yet, Ragnick doesn’t believe that this will have a negative effect on his players.
“It will be great to play in front of such a crowd, but it won’t affect us,” he told the club’s official website.
“We have already played in front of similar packed houses in Cologne, Berlin and Dortmund.”
