John Collins, the former Scotland, Celtic and Fulham midfielder, has taken the managers job at Belgian side Charleroi.

Collins, who as a midfielder during his career had a spell in France with Monaco, takes over from Thierry Siquet at Charleroi, as the side has disappointed this season, currently sitting 11th in the Belgian Pro League.
The former Celtic, Fulham and Monaco midfielder was unveiled by Charleroi on Monday evening and has taken former Newcastle and Aston Villa player Tommy Craig, who was previously coach of the Scotland Under-21 team, to Belgium with him.
The Zebras are a First Division outfit owned by Iranian businessman Abbas Bayat. Of the appointment he said: “He is a young modern coach with a winning mentality.”
Collins,40, won the Scottish Cup with Hibs as manager in 2007.
